registro ESXi 5.5 free

Bom Dia!

Estou iniciado no Vmware e virtualização.

Realizei o download do ESXI 5.5 e instalei em um comutador de testes, (o 6.0 não é compatível com o hardware).

Ao acessar o servidor com o VMware vSphere Client, apresenta a tela de avaliação (VMware Evaluation Notice), a ao clicar no link para adicionar a licença segue para o site da vmware, insiro a licença apresentada no momento do download mas apresenta o erro:

Unsuccessful Registration

The following key(s) cannot be registered

XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX The License key is already registered.

Como devo proceder?

Welcome to the Community,

A free license key dosn't have to (cannot) be registered online. All you need to do is to assign the license key to the ESXi hsot. For details see section "Licensing a standalone ESXi host" at VMware KB: Licensing ESXi 5.x and vCenter Server 5.x.
