How to prevent deletion of vmem file on shutdown

A vmem file is created on VM suspend and deleted on VM shutdown. When a new vmem is created, it is fragmented, making subsequent resumes and suspends slower than they have to be. You would have to manually defragment again every time it is created to get the maximum performance in subsequent suspends and resumes.

Is there a way to prevent the deletion of the vmem file on shutdown so it is always defragmented?

Thanks for posting. It seems that vmem has caused performance issue on suspend/resume. I have reported internally. I don't think vmem can be reserved on shut down.
