Random network performance issue

Hello guys,

I work in a vSphere 5.5u2 environment where there is a cluster of 5 ESXi running on Bull Novascale Bullion with about 250 VMs.

We have since day one strange random network performance. At random time, the latency of VMs increases really high (from 10ms to 700ms) during several seconds. It happens between VMs inside and outside the same ESXi servers.

We checked everywhere: physical network configuration, storage, servers, ... everything seems ok.

I didn't find any topics with that kind of issue.

Is someone already experienced this behavior? Any advise is welcome.

Thanks in advance !

Frédéric

Latency issue may come due to many reasons..We should know what exactly ruining in side the VM's level(OS level)..like daily backups, anti virus updates,patching...etc....enable perfmon counters and monitor few VMs utilization when issues were happening.
