PowerCli equalize vms per datastore

I have a VDI environment with 10 (4TB) LUNs with 13 hosts pointing to them. I need to balance the number of desktops (vms) across all the 10 Datastores and somewhat across all the hosts.  These hosts are in their own VDI cluster.

I thought that a script would have already been written for this, but can't seem to find it, does anyone have anything as a starting point.

Which criteria do you have in mind to do the distribution ?

Just the size of the VM on storage, the "busy" percentage of the datastores, the free space on the datastores... ?

And for my own curiosity, why can't you let DRS and SDRS do this for you ?
