RemoveDatastore task status is not updated in Task console

Hello,

I'm using the HostdatstoreSystem.removeDatstore() for removing the datastore from the vCenter. First time the task console shows the status with Remove datastore task with Target object as "datastore" as success in completed state. But if you navigate to any other page and traverse back to the task console, the Task shows as in-progress with target object as "HostSystem" in running state.

Any thoughts on this?

What does the API report for the Task status?  Maybe it's a GUI client bug?

Thanks for the info.

The task console shows the status for "remove Datastore" as completed initially.

But the issue happens when I navigate to some other page and while opening the task console. The Task status is changed to "running".

But If I use the VMware menu option to Unmount the datastore, the refresh issue is not coming in the Task console. This issue is seen when invoking the removedatastore API.
