Converting Microsoft Guest Servers

1. Currently, we have a Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 installed on Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition. Also, its hosts 3 Guest Windows 2003 servers.

2. I built a secondary server and also installed Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition. Next, I installed the VMware server.

Questions:

What is the best way to import Guest Windows 2003 servers from Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 to VMware server?

Can VMware importer convert/import Guest Windows 2003 servers to VMware server?

You can do this with VM Importer 2.0, the version installed with VMware Server is, I believe, VM Importer 1.5.

To do this, install VM Importer 2.0 on the first server, import each of the 3 VMs to local storage or a mapped network drive. Then copy these files to your second server that has VMware Server installed and run these VMs there.
