how prevent to create apps icon on desktop client in vmware workspace

Hi

i have a question

when i want use vmware workspace have to login with vmware workspace desktop client but when i sign in with client it automatically install all packages and create an icon on desktop client

how can i prevent to create icon on desktop and user when need to use app login with web and select app for use

Not sure I understand your question but if you have Workspace Agent installed all ThinApp entitlements will be registered on that machine. You don't need the agent in order to login to the portal and launch SAAS apps or anything else but ThinApp packages. Workspace Agent is only required to access ThinApp packages.

Where your ThinApp packages creates icons are a property of the packages themselves. Change your package.ini and the Shortcuts= parameter to change where icons are created.
