CLASS ID, CANDIDATE ID, VmWARE ID, VCP ID CONFUSED!!

Hi friend , My name is ANSH.

I m BE, Oracle certified Associate, & RHCE. since i m linux system admin . I want to make my career into Virtualization Domain ALSO.

To start with I have some question regarding VMWARE Vsphere certification.

1)  .WHAT IS ?  and  WHEN DO WE GET  'ID' & how it works in CERTIFICATE VALIDATION.

ie

    CANDIDATE ID :?

    VmWare ID?

    CLASS ID. ?   ALSO is it necessary to have CLASS ID while being VCP certified. or during Pearson VUE Exam?

    VCP ID (offcourse after getting certified). but still ...:smileyconfused:

2) Can i take training from CERTIFIED TRAINER individally. ( INSTITUTES GIVE TRAINING FOR 40hr only   , with only lab access of 5days . what could a beginner learn? )

I know an INDIVIDUAL who is highly Certified in VMware Technology, RHCE , & SAN technology. while He offered me to train me for Vmware vsphere 5.x

from BEGINNER level. I too agreed. BUT while so i also asked him about getting this ID's. he didtn't agree for CLASS ID. ?

3) Can i appear for VCP Exam if i take Training from Certified Trainer but  not from any INSTITUTE.

    Am i eligible for VCP exam after training in doing so.

   Will this make any problem latter in CERTIFICATION , EXAM or while Verification or getting my Printed certificate.

     I need The PROPER & VALID CERTIFICATION offcourse with knowledge & Skills.

4) After being a qualified VCP exam what facilities eg Software ,workstation licence or other study material we get for self practice.

PLEASE REPLY ASAP for all my question . I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THIS HELP.

1) There are several levels and knowledge "silos" of VMware certification.  You can start at the VCA-level using the free online trailing.

You will get a VMW# when you create an account at VMware.com.  You will get a Pearson login when you create an account there.

You VMW# should be the only number you need.

2) You can take the training but it won't count towards the training requirement for any certification that requires a class.

3) You can take a VCP exam at any time after requesting authorization.   You will not be certified until you meet the requirements for certification (normally an official class and passing the exam)

4) VCP5-DCV includes a license for VMware Workstation.

                 So sir you mean if i have Class Id then it will be helpfull to me while appearing Vmware exam and also while getting eCertificate.
