Virtualise a company laptop with encrypted disk

Hi,

i have a corporate laptop that i want to convert into a virtual machine so I don' t have to switch between this laptop and my home pc (when at home).

However:

- I am not an admin on this laptop

- the disk is encrypted using CheckPoint (no need to enter a password/pin during boot)

Is it possible to  create a VM for this laptop? If yes, how?

Regards, Robert

Yes - but as you can NOT use Converter you have to make sure to activate the correct drivers BEFORE you create the vmdk.
To create the vmdk you can use any Linux LiveCD and create the vmdk a la
dd if=/dev/sda of=import-flat.vmdk bs=20M

I would give more details but everything else depe4nds on the guestOS you need/use
