Created Yosemite.1 virtual machine without errors/problems.
Tried to started up GPartEd live cd iso in the vm and received message
The guest operating system is not Mac OS X Server
Any workaround?
You should probably change the guest OS type in the VM's settings temporarily while running GPartEd, since it most definitely isn't OS X. Try "Other Linux 3.x kernel 64-bit". Change it back before attempting to boot back into OS X.
