Slightly different question here... I have a growing number of VMs running on Workstation 10 on Server 2012. I've no local backup facility.
Backblaze is out because it doesn't install on Windows Server platforms.
Crashplan seems like the perfect product but the speed is just too slow. It supports multiple backup targets so I've selected both a local disk and their cloud service. I'm getting WAN-like speeds backing up to the local hard drive. The cloud portion takes just as long. Plus, it seems that the changed block tracking isn't very effective -- I'll do a little work in my VMs and Crashplan will suddenly think it needs to re-upload 300GB of data.
Mozy is too expensive. I'd like to backup my entire system in addition to the VM's so I've about .8TB of data.
Any ideas?
