[GUIDE] vSphere 5.5: new features and enhancements, configuration minimums, maximums, facts, best practices

Hello everyone,

for a while I've been working on a very condensed vSphere 5.5 guide (and I still am, it's not finished) that I was hoping people would find useful.

This aims to be a quick guide that contains the most important pieces of information on vSphere 5.5, from hard numbers to "gotchas" and best practices.
It can be used as reference in day to day operations or in preparation for a VCP exam, to refresh one's memory. As we know, VCP exams are very specific and therefore it is important to know specifications by heart.

Note, however, that this does not aim to be a complete, end-all be-all, guide. There is no information on how to design, implement or configure a vSphere environment. It is meant as a complement to existing resources (books, the official VMware documentation center, etc.)

As you can tell from my signature, virtualis.info is my personal blog. I'm creating a discussion here because I have not been able to gauge interest and I was hoping to collect some feedback from you guys.

I've received no written feedback on the Internet, but people are using it.
I have decided to continue working on it, and hopefully it will be done next week.

As of now, much more information still needs to be added and new sections need to be created.
