MS Guest mouse/keyboard loss due to use of named pipes on Ubuntu/Linux Guest

Hi All, i found two problems on VMware Workstation 10.0.3 build-1895310 (Windows 7 x64 host, ASUS RAMPAGE IV EXTREME, Intel Core i7-3930K, 32GB memory, AMD Radeon HD7930). 1. To get access  to ttyS0 (com 1) on a Linux Ubuntu 14.04 VM via a named pipe, I had to remove the printer from the VM definition (settings). 2. The more problematic topic is the following:       As described in topic 1. I add a named pipe on com 1 of the Ubuntu VM. In addition I add also ttyS1 (com 2) as named pipe. I need that to redirect standard output to the serial ports (headless installations of Linux).       Now my problem. As soon as I power on this VM, I losing on all running Microsoft Windows (Servers and Desktops) VM’s the mouse and the keyboard. As soon as I power down the Ubuntu VM, I get back access to the keyboard and mouse on the Microsoft VMs.       This behavior is reproducible, but unacceptable. Unfortunately I only have a private Workstation license and cannot open a support case at VMware. Can anyone reproduce this behavior please? Can anyone open an support case at VMware? Thank You for support in advanced Achim
