vCAC VMRC on a mac

We are doing a vCAC POC and I noticed that I can't launch the VMRC from a mac.  We have a very large Mac user base.  I thought this VMRC was html 5 and could be used from a Mac using a Firefox version that supported html5.

Is it possible to run the VMRC from a Mac?

I am able to open a VM console using VMRC from the web client on my Mac using Firefox.....

what is the exact error ?

can you include a screen shot?

There is no error.  The page to download the vmrc plugin comes up.  The plugin is an .exe file.  This doesn't happen within the the web client though.  It just works.  Does the vcac vmrc work differently than that of the web client vmrc?
