Hi guys ,we are trying to reconfigure our current VI and want to upgrade to vSphere 5.5
My question is from what I can gather in 5.1 you needed Enterprize for Svmotion .( specifially aksed in VCP510 Exam )
But if you look at general VMware publications , it looks like you can get it in Standard ?
I am clearly missing something here , did it change from 5.1/0 to current versions ?
Current Portal clearly shows you only need Standard licensing for sVmotion >

The Storage vMotion was not available on vSphere 5.0 Standard Editions.
If I recall correctly, the SvMotion is available on vSphere Standard starting vSphere version 5.1+
If you see below table comparison taken from this link: VMworld 2012 -Top 3 Changes You Need to Know
SvMotion is highlighted as New in vSphere 5.1 under Standard Editions
