Disabling DelayedAck and LRO

Hi,

I have Dell servers with Dell EqualLogic iSCSI storage on 10G network. My question is whether to disable DelayedAck and Large Receive Offload on the hosts. Running ESXi 5.1 U2. Dell recommends disabling both to improve read latency on the SAN. Anyone has had to do this? And did you see any performance improvements after the change?

I have had a look at that KB article. I was more after real world cases where people have seen performance improvement after making this change. I am making this change on a dev environment for now.
