Standalone Converter P to V job is hanging at 1%

I'm doing a linux P to V conversion using the Stand Alone Converter Tool, V 5.5.

The process is stopped for 4 hours at 1% complete.   The last message in the log highlights is "Connecting to the Converter helper server on the destination virtual machine"

The helper server was given a static IP address in the job setup.

The helper machine is visible in vSphere web and is showing that is in the same network that we specified for the destination.

When I attempt to get log files by selecting the Task in SAC client and right-clicking, the "export logs" option is greyed out.

Two questions.

1) How can I obtain more detailed logs?

2) What other troubleshooting steps can I take to resolve this issue

Thanks in Advance!

Dave

Is the NIC connected and the correct Network label selected?  Try logging into the helper VM and make sure it set the right ip. Try these KB's

Mark,

Thanks for the reply,  I did have a network addressing problem.   My conversion is now progressing.   I am still not able to "export logs"  the option is greyed out.   Do you know where I can enable that feature in the conversion tool?

Thanks in advance.

You can export a log bundle when the task has completed.

I had the same problem, when you set up the original job in the VMware converter there is an location under options helper vm network you can setup the ip subnet and gateway for the helper converter there.
