scsi-megaraid-sas driver

Hi,

Can someone explain which driver is newer, the one that comes with ESXi 5.5 U1:

scsi-megaraid-sas               5.34-9vmw.550.1.15.1623387        VMware  VMwareCertified   2014-04-14

or this one:

First of all I think you should get the latest driver from LSI web-site. Apart from that, 6.x seems to me to be newer than 5.x.

The 6.x driver is newer for sure. Typically the VMware website holds the latest versions of the driver. As you can imagine these are update regularly, so that should be your source of truth
