Disable Additional Hard Disk in VM

Hi All,

Is there any way to disable Additional Hard Disk in VM? I want to disable the Hard Disk & at later point of time i will enable the Hard Disk. Kindly suggest if this is possible in vCloud Director or vSphere or any workarounds.

Hi Lucky,

When you say disable, do you mean the HDD should not be visible to OS?

Yes, HDD should not be visible to Guest OS & when needed it should be visible back to GuestOS.
