Adding virtual machine network level to a host in a cluster

Dear All,

I've two Esxi hosts running in a cluster under vcenter. Both hosts have two physical NIC's connected to network and configured as trunk ports to pass all VLAN traffic, those VLAN for which we have created 'virtual machine port groups' under vswitch0.

Now for some new requirement, I am in need to add a new 'virtual machine labeled network' under vswitch0, can I do it from vcenter, like I am logged in to vcenter and I click my desired host server go to its networking > Properties of vswitch0 and click 'Add to create my required port group under vswitch0'.

I used to do this on hosts when we were not having a vcenter and were running hosts without a cluster environment. But now we have vcenter and the above given two hosts are under it. Can I do this operation with out any problems ? Do I need to perform the same operation to second host in the cluster ?

If anything not clear please let me know. Waiting for your response.

Thanks,

You can create vm port group from the vCenter as well for a specific host.

It will not make any difference.
