Question about Storing a virtual machine swap file in another datastore

Hi guys

   I have a Vm stored in a datastore, as usual.

vSphere: 5.1, cluster with 7 hosts.

VM: VM-78-SGS_TEST

Datastore: VMFS-LUN-078-SGS_PROD_COPIA

I want to recreate swap file in another datastore. So, i read this article:

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=100408...

Ok, i shutdown the VM and i modify the vmx definition file:

After:

sched.swap.derivedName = "/vmfs/volumes/50783d76-dfba7000-90e7-14feb58930de/VM-78-SGS_TEST/VM-78-SGS_TEST-49bc801c.vswp"

Before:

sched.swap.dir = "/vmfs/volumes/VMFS-LUN-MEMORIA/VM-78-SGS_TEST"

when VMFS-LUN-MEMORIA is a special datastore for storing swap files.

And save vmx file.

Next step, i remove VM from inventory.

Next step, i add VM to inventory from vmx definition file browse datastore, select vmx file, add to inventory).

The VM is still poweroff. The main datastore don't have a swap file (vswp).

Next step, i start VM.

Tne VM is started. The special swap datastore named VMFS-LUN-MEMORIA have a vswp file but THE MAIN DATASTORE HAVE A VSWP FILE TOO!!!.

The vswp datastore swap file is named  VM-78-SGS_TEST-49bc801c.vswp, size 4GB (RAM VM size).

The vswp main datastore swap file is named vmx-VM-78-SGS_TEST-1237090332-1.vswp, size 108MB.

What kind of swap file is  vmx-VM-78-SGS_TEST-1237090332-1.vswp?

Thanks.
