ESXi 5.1 Host memory status warning

Hi,

Two of six ESXi Hosts showed "Host memory status" warning yesterday.

On ILO, there are no error messages shown.

I reseted the sensors and  restarted the management services on both hosts.

There is no more error message on one of the host - the other one has instead of 14 warnings, now 28 warnings.

The amount of warnings changes after every management services restart.

There are HP ProLian 550c Gen8 server in use.The installed version is the HP customized ESXi 5.1.0.

Any ideas how to fix the issue?

Can you paste a screenshot of the warnings?

This is something to do on the hardware side. The ESXi just shows the hardware status that comes from the hardware. may be its the issue with CIM providers.

Please check this below discussion.

I'm sure the fix works for 5.1 too.

You say you already reset the management services and counters right. if you have any doubt on that. The refer this.

Installed the latest Version of HP offline bundle. Unfortunately, the same warnings has resurfaced.

I think this is a software bug. I'll contact HP and ask for a solution.
