High Availability without Shared storage?

Hi All,

We have created two ESXi 5.1 new servers without any vMotion network and no shared storage either. Customer requested for High Availability of VMs. There are few things we can look into in this situation like FT and HA, but I know these will not work without shared storage. VSA is also another option in this case but it is not flexible and has more limitations than benefits.

Just checking is there any other solution we can look into to provide High availability to the VMs.

Thank you for help in advance.

Without shared storage (or the VSA) it's hard to provide high availability. Maybe vSphere Replication is an option, if you can afford the loss of the latest chanegs, when it comes to switching to the latest replica.
