Hi,
What do you think about pursue VCA certificates after you got your VCP?
Do you think it worth or not? any added value or it or just wasting money and time?
Regards,
Hi,
as you take a look at the VMware Certification Roadmap you can see that VCA is below the VCP. So if you are a VCP, I don't think the VCA bring you any value.

If you have your VCP5-DCV, getting VCA-WM or VCA-Cloud demonstrates knowledge of those areas. I would not get a VCA in a "stack" where you already have the VCP or VCAP unless your certification storage area has been featured on Hoarders

Thanks for your post on this. I just got my VCP5-DCV and have been looking at going down the View path. Since I paid for the class for DCV when my company wasnt able to, the budget is a little tight for pursuing the professional level of View certification for a while.

You don't need to take any more training to qualify for either the Desktop or Cloud VCP or VCAP certifications - the second path in the text and on the graphic on this VCP5 DT page applies to you: http://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrReg/plan.cfm?plan=28343&ui=www_cert
Note you can also inherit VCP5-DT if you go straight for the VCAP-DTD exam, and again there's no additional training you must take - see here: http://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrReg/plan.cfm?plan=32566&ui=www_cert
