Can someone please elaborate on this error? Issue detected on actxtsprdesx31.domain.hosting.com in Acton: Bootbank cannot be found at path '/bootbank' (2013-08-28T08:01:01.154Z cpu11:1901176)

I have Googled it already and found vaugue indications that implies there might be an issue with the media the Hypervisor is on, can anyone else confirm this?  You will have to excuse my inexperience I have only just passed my VCP.

Just to add to the above, I have already
rebuilt this host once because of this error.
Its the same hardware as the rest of the cluster and its using the same
vendor image as the rest of the cluster none of the other hosts exhibit the
issue or ever have.

It could mean that the partition where /bootbank is referred is broken and cannot be reached.

Taking a wild guess, that you are using ESXi USB installer, it could be possible, that the USB keys might be disturbed. Just check on the lsusb command and see if you are able to find your usb drive.

Other possible cases might be that the esx.conf file has been messed up. In case if you wish to come out of this, you might want to reboot, if the issue happens again,  do have a check on the USB disk itself
