Now onto v3 with a view to doing that exam asap too!

Chris, congratulations! However, you may have to wait until Q3 or Q4 this year to take the VI 3 exam, because it is not available yet.

I passed june 12 with score 87% and my VCP number is 5740, so many VCPs in the world.

Wow, the VCP numbers are getting up there. When I passed the VCP test in June of last year, my number given was in the 2500s. Goes to show how prolific VMware is getting.

VI3 exams are not yet available, but they say the 2-day "What's New Class" course is available from July 6th 2006.

In 2007 there will be something like VIP to come as a requirement (Virtual Infrastructure Professional).

My VCP # is 5393 and I have passed with 92% score.

VI3 exams are now available (since last weekend). The exam ID at Pearson Vue is VCP310.

I have taken the VI3 Test, passed with an 80%

Beware, there are some nebulous questions on that test, very tricky, however, followed closely with the class.

that would be "passed with an 80", not "passed with an 80%".

In VCP101E/VCP101V, all questions were equally valued, so your score was the % of questions you answered correctly.

In VCP310, there is a weight for each question, and the resulting score is no longer given as a percentage.

I'm still waiting for feedback to know whether 100 is still the maximum score ? Has anyone scored > 100 on VCP310 ?
