Are you using Shared Virtual Machines?  If not, then I'd just disable the VMware Workstation Server Service! Smiley Wink

no i am not running any shared vms..

the reason for asking this question is that my workstation is running damn pathetically slow .. so i went to event viewer and only found these things of interest so wanted to know if these could be the reasoons for slow performance..

i will make a video of how slow it is behaving as compared to virtualbox.. hopefully there will be some way to post flv screencasts here .

will make a new fresh thread of that screen cast .

Then disable the VMware Workstation Server Service and see it that improves performance.

A video is not really going to be of much diagnostic value so don't waste then bandwidth! Smiley Wink

Collecting diagnostic information for VMware Workstationwould be much more useful then a video! Smiley Happy
