Setting ESXi root account to expire after 60 days

Is there a way to set the local root account on an ESXi host to expire after 60 days?

I'm already using AD authentication but the root account is still available for use if AD is unavailable to authenticate.  However I don't want to just leave the root account with the same password indefinitely in order to comply with security policy.

Thanks-

ESXi does not support password aging both in stateful and stateless ESXi hosts.
