Unable to connect to the MKS:failed to connect to 902

Hello All,

I am getting this error when ever I tried to launch open console option in Vsphere client. I have firewall turned off in state and I have create a new rule to accept port 902 and 903 but still getting this error.

Currently I am using W2k8 server to connect to Vcenter 5.0, any help on this would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Community - Are you connecting directly to the ESXi host or from vCenter? If vCenter - what happens when you launch the client form the vcenter server? confirm the firewall settings on the vcenter server as well -

You may check firewall  settings.

I have verified firewall settings on VCenter server, Its already disabled. I tried both connecting to VCenter and Host individually, getting same error when I launch open console.

If this is through vcenter how are your host connected?  If by hostname or FQDN make sure you can resolve DNS to the hosts by their FQDN or host name.  An easy test is a ping or nslookup.
