ESXI 5.X with raid card rocketraid 1740 {problem}

Dear all,

can any one explain to me or show me a link or is there is driver to make the card work in with esxi 5?

I recently bought a hightpoint card rocket raid 1740, and I did update the BIOS to make it work with +2Tb. everything looks fine in windows.

also when I boot up I did configure the card to raid 5, but when I continue booting up to ESXI the card is not recognized.

is there a way to make the card work in vmware exsi? please show me how or were to find this to help me out.

Welcome to the Community - Have you confirmed that RAID card is supported? You can check the HCL - http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php

If it is not supported you will not be able to get it to work -

First my question would be how old this card ?

If its around 4 yrs old then will suggest to go with new one.
