vDP - mcserver.xml missing

Hi everybody,

the VDP Appliance of my customer miss the mcserver.xml file stored in /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/ and now the Appliance can't work.

Any idea hoe to fix it? Is there a way to backup configuration files and batabase and replace with a new appliance restoring configuration?

You may try the following

su - admin

mcserver.sh --restore

If that doesn't work you can try this:

Unfortunately our customer decommissioned VDP appliance months ago.
