VMware vcenter won't let me create Virtual machine

Hit there,

the setup:

  • laptop, win7 prof 64bit
  • acronis, virtualbox and Windows Virtual machine is installed on machine (in case it matters)
  • just installed Vmwarevcenter and VMware player

I tried to create a virtual machine of the physical machine with the vcenter to an external harddrive. The following errormessage i got (translated from german):

one parameter was not correct spec.synchronizeImmediatley

So how to fix this?

Welcome to the Community,

did you start the Converter (I assume you are using the latest version!) by right clicking an "Run as Administrator"?

You may also want to take a look at http://www.running-system.com/p2v-standalone-converter-error-a-specified-parameter-was-not-correct-s... to see whether this helps.
