P2V Hot migration

I performed hot migration of ubunut server, that is working good, but stops network connection after 2 or 3 mins. If I restart network services(/etc/init.d/networking restart), and it again starts working fine but for 2 or mins. I have updated its VMWare tools and my NIC type is VMXNET3. vSphere version is 5.1.

Can anyone please suggest, how to resolve this issue. ?

2-3 minutes sounds pretty short, but make sure to check the power management to make sure the NIC isn't going to sleep.
