As per “User’s Guide to Deploying vAPP and Virtual Appliances for VMware Studio 2.6”, VAMI allows user to change network settings. So it implies we can use CIM API’s to configure Proxy Settings from any other application?.
Questions:
Can we get some more details on what those API’s are? And how they can be used for setting up proxy? Also if we need to set Proxy server password, does it need to be in encrypted format or it expects plain text?
