When I downloaded vsphere 5.1a I didn't see any vConverter. Is it still available and compatible? How about Update Manager. I thought they'd be dropping it by now. Is VMware still promising to drop it next edition?
VMware Converter is not bundled with vCenter Server anymore and is available as a standalone product from VMware vCenter Converter Standalone.
I'm not aware of any plans to drop Update Manager. Only the option to update guest operating systems has been removed.
