VCAP 5 Certification

Hi Guys,

I have done VCP 5 around 6 months back and now want to complete VCAP-DCA 5 in one or two months. Please suggest the cost and exam procedure/plans in detail.

Thanks

Vinay

Exam costs $400.  You have to request permission from VMware to take to the exam.  Just go to the VMware DCA website and click on the VMware DCA request authorization link.  Once you are approved go the pearsonvue website to sign up for the exam.

This is an a live lab exam, so I would make sure that you have a lab setup so that you can perform everything that is in the exam blueprint.  If you don't have a copy of the blueprint, it is on the VMware DCA website.

Also, this study guide is one of the best out there -http://t.co/wz3ouh1

The vBrownbag videos are also a great study resource.

wahlnetwork.com also has a lot of links to other study resources.

If you don't have a lab setup, there is a program called Autolab that will help you buld a virtual lab.

Good luck with your adventure.

Marc

Hi,

I checked for the hardware requirements for the autolab. I have a VM in office network.which we use for lab and testing purpose. can i use that machine for autolab. secondly, if i use that VM, does it occupies or request for Local IP address (office network) or I can assign any subnet of my choice for this lab.

kindly suggest.
