    vSphere Web Client is missing VMware Lookup Service configuration. - Issue

    AlfredoQuiroga Novice

      I am currently receiving the following error message when trying to login to my UI web client.

      "vSphere Web Client is missing VMware Lookup Service configuration."

      - Environment:

      OS: Mac

      Serenity Client: 5.1

      Virtual Center: 5.0

      Configuration:

      Under:

      xxxx:config xxxx$ pwd

      /backup/software/serenity-client/server/config
      I have:
      xxxx:config xxxx$ cat webclient.properties
      sso.enabled = false
      However, as previously mentioned when I start the virgo server, then the UI web plugin and go to login I receive:
      "vSphere Web Client is missing VMware Lookup Service configuration."
      I am likely missing something or perhaps placing the file in the wrong place? Not sure but it looks like the ss.enabled = false is not doing anything. Not quite sure if the file is even being read. The startup.sh script it's reading the configurations found under server/config so I would think it would also pick the webclient.properties.
      Any help or pointers is greatly appreciated.
