VCAP-DCA4 second attempt waiting time.....

Questions in on behalf of group. Lots of people were unaware about the wait time for second attempt of VCAP-DCA4 exam

I just have a query about VCAP-DCA4 second attempt. Let's assume if i got my results on Monday (29 Oct). I have to again wait for 10 days to register my slot for a second attempt ? It is just a 10 calender days or 10 business days?

Will I have been given an option to schedule my second attempt only after 10 days from the date of result or i will be allowed to register my exam immediately after my results to appear after 10 days.

Will my results will  be updated immediately on the Pearson site to book for my second attempt or only update after 10 days?

From how I understand it, the waiting time is 14 calender days between the first attempt (the date you take the exam) and the second time.

Does VMware have a retake policy for the VCAP-DCA and VCAP-DCD exams?

Hi Andre,

we have to almost wait for 15 business days for getting results from the date of exam. Does it mean we no need to wait for the second attempt. once we got the results, we can appear for the second attempt immedietely after the results published?

At least form how I understand this, you should be able to take the second exam immediately after receiving the results (if this takes longer than the 14 days waiting period). However, I can't tell you for sure. Maybe we'll wait and see if scott28tt reads this post. I'm pretty sure he's able to answer this question.

I'm no better informed than you guys on this one - to me the key wording in the FAQ is "after the first attempt"
