I just upgraded to Ubunutu 12.04 from 10.04 and now my VMWare Workstation 7 won't startup.
I get a number of these error what I try to correct:

I saw that there was a patch out there for vmware 7.1.5 for the 3.2 kernel but I can not find a corresponding one for 7.1.6.
I am willing to upgrade to Workstation 9, but cannot find my serial number to complete my upgrade.
If someone knows of a patch for Workstation 7.1.6 on a 3.2 kernel that would be helpful. If not, can someone direct
me to where my serial number should be on my computer?
