    DHCP configuration for Autodeploy

    astrolab Enthusiast

I would like to start using Auto Deploy in one of our environments.

Currently the vSphere vcenter server has a 10.10 address, static.

The hosts all have static IPs in the 10.20 subnet.

All the Vms have DHCP addresses in the 10.20 subnet.

The 10.20 subnet already has the DHCP scope configured with the bot options 066 and 067 to point to  a WDS instance.

In this scenario, do I need to put the hosts in a different subnet altogether and configure this new scope in DHCP with the autodeploy boot options ?

      Thank you.
