SRM 5.0 - "Forced Recovery" option grayed out

In SRM 5.0, when I go to run a Recovery Plan, I see a check box under the Disaster Recovery type that says "Forced Recovery - recovery site operations only" (see attached screenshot).  This is always grayed out.  In what circumstances would it not be grayed out and what is it used for?  I tried searching the Admin guide and the web for information, but found nothing.

Hi PCI,

You need to enable the forced failover feature. See p89 of the Admin Guide:
