Decommission esxi host with replica VMs

We have an ESXi host (for View 4.6) that we want to decommission.  I have migrated all of the VMs off of the host except for  8 "replica" VMs (name starts with replica-).  If I right click on any of these VMs, the migrate option is grayed out.

What do I need to do in order to move these replica VMs to another host?  Is there anything else that needs to be done in order to decommission a View 4.6 ESXi host?

Thanks,

-John

Is this a standalone host or is it part of a DRS cluster?

If you place the host in maintenance mode and use the to move powered off machines the it should move them to another host.

I know what you are referring to; however, it does not ask.  It goes straight into maintenance mode.

Ah, that did the trick.  I took it out of the cluster because it was being decommssioned.  I placed it back in the cluster and entered maintenance mode.  This allowed the VMs to be evacuated to another host.

Thanks! Smiley Happy
