Force the REDO_ file to always reside at a directory

Would like the *REDO_* file of an independent-nonpersistent drive to always reside at a directory other than the .vmx's directory.

Setting workingDir = ... does it, but it also puts the .vmem file there when the VM is suspended which is not required.

Setting scsi0:1.redo = ... does not work, this is reset to "" when the VM is switched off.

How can the *REDO_* (and only the *REDO_*) file be forced to reside at a specified directory?

which version do you use ? Behaviour has changed slightly recently.

About the vmem-file ...are you aware of the  vmx-parameter that configures that ?

suspend.Directory = "h:\suspend"

It's 7.1.5.

Using workingDir and suspend.Directory the latter seems to be ignored, the .vmem goes to the workingDir.  Adding fileSearchPath set at the same value as suspend.Directory does not seem to make any difference either.
