WS 8.0.2 and Linux kernel 3.2.2 work with weltall patch

This patch also works to install WS 8.0.2 on Fedora 17 Rawhide with kernel 3.3.0-0.rc1.git0.4.fc17.x86_64.  Developer Artem S. Tashkinov should be

I should have mentioned that the host is Ubuntu 10.10 x64 with backports and the 3.2.2 kernel.

PS and thanks to Stefano Angeleri whose blog holds the weltall patch. I'm not sure who coded the patch, but it works great and I'm grateful.

PPS. If you have trouble applying the patch, uninstall vmware-workstation and then delete all of the subdirectories in /usr/lib/vmware. Then re-install workstation and then apply the patch.
