    vCenter Server Plugins

      Hello,

I want a document that lists all the vCenter Server plugins, is there any such document from VMware.

Basically I need a fast access to information on all such plugins e.g update manager, site recovery manager, vShield zones, vcloud director etc. Currently am not able to gather all the information I want such as licensing model for all the plugins, cost of licenses. Some plugins are included as part of vSphere licenses but others you need to purchase additonally and add on to vCenter Server.

Sometimes it's hard for me to propose a VMware based solution because we don't have a complete list of all the plugins and the costs of licenses apart from the vSphere and vCenter costs.

      Hope to receive some information

I only need a list/document that has VMware plugins to the vCenter Server and not any 3rd party plugins.

No document from VMware on vCenter Server plugins...so far I have not managed to find any such document but I really want to know. Such document will assist us in providing solutions to our prospective clients.

Sometimes we miss out on functionalities that could be crucial for some projects only because it's not part of the vSphere licenses and comes as vCenter plugins that needs to be purchased additonally.

Hoping to receive some information soon

Please close this call as so far I have received no information.....i guess no one is able to find the information am looking for and even VMware does not have any such document.

I think VMware needs to prepare such documents for all its product line....a single document would be very helpful and it can always be updated whenever a new product is launched or upgraded.
