Hi sibsbt,
The only thing those esxtop screenshots show are high CPU utilization, presumably during your stress test of the web server.
If the web server itself is crashing then it is likely a problem inside the guest and not specifically related to the fact that it is a virtual machine. Are you saying that the web server crashed during your stress tests or it crashed so you ran those stress tests to see if you could make it crash?
I would look at the OS and application logs in the guest OS to see if you can determine the cause of the crash.

Hi Matt
Thanks For your quick reply
Actually it was crashed while normal operations . I did a stress test since i wanted to make sure that our vm environments does not have any pitfalls .
(the developers complainig about the vm's )
Actually the when the CPU goes high , the web server wont responds .
Increasinfg the number of vcpu will solve the issue ?
I am attaching the application error log , in os i could not find any error at that time
It's hard to say whether or not adding vCPUs will fix the problem. It is worth a shot but remember that not all applications can take advantage of multiple vCPUs? How many are in the VM now? I thought I saw 2 vCPUs from your screenshot.
