Prevent time sync between guest and host

Hello everybody.

I have a ESXi Server with a Ubuntu host. I don't want the host to be time synchronized with the guest, since I want it to have its own time. I configure it not to happen, both in the vSphere console and in the VMWare tools in the guest, but Ubuntu always will synchronize.

¿how can I solve this?

Check out kb 1189 for the steps to completely disable the time sync.
