Problem to add NFS datastore in ESXi4.1

Hi,

I am having four ESXi4.1 servers in a HA/DRS cluster and connected all to VC4.1. When I tried to configure a new NFS datastore, I am facing a strange problem. The problem description is:

I can add a new NFS datastore in all first 3 ESXi4.1 servers. While I am adding the same NFS datastore with the last ESXi, it throws an error like "The datastore name already exist". This is completely strange.

Troubleshoot steps taken:
1. Restarted ESXi Management agent
2. Restarted VC server service
3. NFS service in ESXi

Could anyone please, shed more light on this issue. And drive me how to fix it up. And let me know what could be the reason for this problem.

Thanks,

Ganesh

You can try this option too..

Remove the ESXI 4.1 from the virtual center and add the host back to virtual center. then try adding the NFS datastore.. see if that resolves the issue.
