Unable to customize a template for 2003 R2

Hi I have vCenter 4.1 installed on the D:\ drive of my server

I have deployed the sysprep files into the C:\ default location as per documents

I've created a number of templates but when deploying a new VM from the 2003 template the option to customize is always greyed out.

Any thoughts?

It needs to go under the vCenter on 😧 not C:.  The default locatoin is for default installs of vCenter which you obviously changed.

Thanks I'll try this tomorrow and let you know.

I just though becasue the entire directory structure for sysprep had been created on C:\ it would reference this but to be honest I've not tried copying this to D:\ yet.

It didn't work.

My folder structure is as follows:

vCenter installation = D:\VMware\Infrasturcture\VirtualCenter Server

My Sysprep location = C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Sysprep

Even when I copied the entire ProgramData folder structure from C:\ to D:\ it made no difference.

Any other ideas?

Thanks, but I've already seen that article, downloaded the appropriate sysprep files for Windows 2003 R2 and still it doesn't work.
