If you are like me, you work real hard, put in the time and effort to bring new technology to your company, and of coarse, you get yourself certified. Now what? A promotion? A raise? Or just a "pat on the back"?
Now I know the economic climate and all those issues, but when a company wants to compensate you, they look to the local marketplace and compare your salary to others in your industry with similar titles. Hence the rub.
I have to believe that many of you created a much more lofty title other than LAN Analyst, or "vmware guru".
So I ask the question, what titles were bistowed to you that paved the way to Greener ($$$) pastures?
This has been over to the virtual lounge forum. I would have to expect my title is a really common one, Systems Engineer.
